Update About Updates
Uploading Bet Me Chapters to FF
After much thought about whether to remove Bet Me from FF altogether, or leave it sitting there, I have decided to leave it there, and keep it updated for people to read. One of my readers pointed out that re-reading a story on FF is a lot less complicated, and easier to access. After witnessing this for myself with several fics I’ve been reading, I have decided there was some serious merit to the thought.
LJ will still be the first home of Bet Me.
My intention is to continue to update on LJ. Updating on FF will occur at sporadic intervals, and all new chapters will be added at once as I’m not looking for comments on FF, just reads.
Today is one of these days. The new chapter will be readable on FF or LJ today.
My anxiety…
Still inhibits me. It is my constant companion, and I am seeking help with it, but progress is slow, and I tend to go up and down like a yo-yo. Some weeks are great, others are not so great. This is a not so good week.
Because of my anxiety, and my desire to deliver a better product, I am now using beta readers. Bex (Parnassides) and Lauren (Lauren3210) have both been fabulous help, as has updating on LJ. With my best readers as my audience I am receiving the opinions of my most loyal readers first. Everything I write will now be uploaded on LJ first for this reason, including KMBMH. Updating here first eliminates my anxiety somewhat before I proceed to update on FF.
KMBMH
I’m about to start working on this again. I have written next chapter of Bet Me, and will start working on chapter 11 of KMBMH. This will not be locked on LJ, and I will be posting it on FF. I have put a tentative update date on my FF profile page. Please note, this is only a guess at this stage.
Original Fiction
I am currently re-writing my 2010 NaNo. I’ve never been anything but upfront about my desire to be published. While I know my writing may not be good enough for the publishers yet, I want to start putting my original fiction out there, so I can understand what I need to do to improve it. That will go on Wattpad, after being uploaded here first. This will be locked for friends only. If you have any desire to read it, and I haven’t added you to my friends list, please send me a message.
