mission springs offered me the lifeguard position. all i have to do is get the rest of the lifeguard training and i'm a lifeguard... should i do it? i kinda wanted to be a fr kitchen staffer again and have someone to hang out with... but i'm sure being a lifeguard has its charms

lifeguard ehh? i was hoping we could work together, but maybe if we have different jobs we wont drive each other crazy and hate each other by the end of the summer, which i kinda thought might happen. its not like we would do it on purpose but its almost bound to happen even with your best friend after spending so much time together. i just hope being a lifegaurd doesnt cut into your going to the beach time.

we'd have different hours. i'd work somethin like nine to four and you'd work somethin like 7 to 2ish. so lifeguarding makes for good morning surfing, but it sucks for afternoon screwin around at the beach. kitchen pretty much sucks morningwise, but you get the bulk of the day to screw around it seems. i'm stuck really. lifeguarding is a pretty sweet job,and i'd get to hang out with a lot of ladies, but i would have to get the extra training junk... i'd also probably have access to a lifeguard speedo... hmmm... but yeah, i'm not really worried about us driving each other crazy, cuz really, the people i worked with last year drove me crazy, and my summer wasn't half bad. i hung out with the most egotistical guy in the history of egotistical people, but since he was a fellow dishwasher, we had fun. it helped that he liked nsync and backstreet boys, but you'll come around. that sounds really weird... speedo, nsync, backstreet boys..... picture that. so in conclusion, both jobs are pretty good, but both jobs suck. with
