The room was dark, silent save the heavy breathing coming from the freshly beaten man slumped over the shabby table. Blood was dripping from his head and his sight was faded as he regained consciousness.
“Why can’t you just accept us?!” The man screamed, slamming his fists against the table and trying to standing up. “We’re not doing anyone any harm!”
“I’m looking out for your best interests and you know it. I care about you…”
“No, you selfish bastard, you just care about YOUR life. Everything has to be how YOU want it! You’re going to have to get used to…” His sentence cut short as a pair of strong arms threw him to the floor. Looking up at the dark figure, he could see the expression of pure hate intensify on the other man’s face before a repetitive fist pounded down into the older man’s body.
It seemed like hours before the younger man stopped punching, but in fact it was mere minutes. Gazing down, he admired his work with a smirk and bent his head to meet Reita’s. “I want you to finish with him. Or I swear, I won’t stop this time.”
Reita lay there, struggling to breathe, bloody and taking in everything. This was so unreal, earlier he and Kai had been talking about their respective partners. After Kai had delved into his and Miyavi’s love life, the hardship at having found out Miyavi‘s wife was pregnant, he’d began bugging Reita, trying to reveal his mystery boyfriend. But as the secretive name had slipped from Reita’s lips, the other man turned psychotic. That was the first punch.
Reita said he was in love.
That was the second.
He tried to defend their relationship.
That was the third, fourth and fifth.
Then he’d criticised Kai and Miyavi’s relationship.
Then everything went black.
