Who says we have to respect God in order to develop our own remedies in order to survive in this shitty earth He put us in? (And don't give me that "We turned this place into a shithole", because I personally didn't, and a lot of people personally didn't, so, therefore, they deserve help if it's readily available). Oh, and, by the way, the embryos can actually be lab-produced...so, how is it an abomination?

last semester for my american gov't class we had to do a paper on bills, acts, and/or laws. I did mine on Embryonic Stem Cell Research and Bush's refusal to fund more federal money into research. So government funding has to come from the states. Cali has set aside $60 million (something like that-huge insane number) for stem cell research for the next ten years. So scientists who want to research stem cells are mostly leaving for cali and because of that most northeastern states are proposing funds of their own to compete with cali because supposively there would be a lot of profit that they would lose if they didnt.

I know your paper has nothing to do with the government side of it but i thought i'd share. Once you're done and have time on your hands, maybe you could send it to me, I'd love to read it.
