Holding this stack of papers in my hands - getting ready to make copies for my mother to take to the attorneys tomorrow - birth certificate, emergency room bill from the day of his death, tattered origional birth certificate .. a lump in my throat forms and it turns my stomach just a bit looking at the tattered social security card and driver's ( Read more... )

Thank you so much for the kind words lovely lady...You always seem to know the right things to say to me <3 I cherish our friendship more than you know, even though we haven't talked in a long while, it's really nice the know that you are out there ^_^

And I'm truly sorry about your brother...I know I didn't know him, but I DO know how much he meant to you...I understand how hard it is to lose someone and that there is nothing anyone can say to make you feel any better...But I am always here if you need someone to vent to about anything...

I have luckily never lost a sibling, but after losing my father, everything changed. It's been seven years and it hurts just as much as it did the morning it happened. Just now I'm capable of sweeping it under the rug more often.

I hope you're doing ok, and if you need anything, you know my number.
