Hyukjae thinks of Vienna as the city that's shaped in a pair of warm, brown eyes.
Vienna is the only place that seems to comfort him these days. He doesn't see why not, Vienna is shooting stars and hearts tied together. It's baguettes in the morning and soft, white sheets at night. Throughout his working period, which is scribbling a love-laced rap lyric down on a piece of paper, he thinks of Vienna and makes plans to go back there one day.
But he has several things to do now, like making up rap songs at every snap of Lee Soo Man's finger, and he can't bother himself by going to Vienna anymore. When he goes home in a taxi, he imagines that the passing lights are Vienna and he rolls down the window to hold onto that image, until it disperses into a million sparks and he's back in Korea again. But his heart stays behind in Vienna, where it belongs.
At times, Vienna comes back to him. It comes back to him on some mornings and stays there with him at night. If it lets him, he takes it into his arms and holds on to it throughout the rest of the evening, with closed eyes and slow breaths.
He kisses Vienna at moments where he feels like it, and sometimes Vienna will kiss him back. He has to share Vienna sometimes, but in the end, it comes back into his arms and they will stay like that in his living room. They'll stay with each other with arms wrapped around each other and their bare chests close together. Vienna will be wearing Hyukjae's basketball shorts that will be falling off at the hips, but Hyukjae doesn't mind or care because when he kisses Vienna's forehead in the bed they share, Vienna is still Vienna.
Hyukjae sees Vienna in Donghae's eyes when he wakes up before him and even though things are different now, Vienna will never change. It will always be shown in a pair of brown eyes that look at him from the stage that they once shared. Hyukjae will stare back into Vienna and he'll always fall back in love with it for the centuries that lasts.
(i'm writing stuff that doesn't make sense because i just want to feel happy and young and not desperate/clingy anymore.
