title: perfectly

warning: pg-15. traces of officeAU, comparing ryeowook to a jacket, lots of iffy writing. 865 words.
summary: jongwoon's jacket doesn't fit him like it's supposed to.

Jongwoon has a meeting that's later on his schedule that day, so the first thing he does that morning is remembering to slip into a jacket that he's recently bought for himself. But as soon as it cascades over his shoulders and forms around his body, he has this thought, this impending thought that's picking at his brain, and it's telling him that there's something wrong with the jacket he's putting on.

He inspects it and it looks nice, and it feels nice, but there's something odd about every seam that's strewn into the jacket. The jacket covers him like it's supposed to, but there's a part of it that's missing, and Jongwoon knows it.

He supposes that these thoughts are due to him being a perfectionist and wanting to look perfect all the time, but he thinks that he changed his mind about this jacket simply because of the boy whose body is lying across his bed. He takes his eyes off the jacket and gives the boy a look, like it's his fault. Which, it kind of is.

His attention returns to the jacket and he takes a step back from the mirror, trying to think of how he could fix it. But all he gets is thoughts that stop on every little detail and fingertips that pause before buttoning up his jacket.

The collar of the neck rests against his collarbone, but it doesn't feel as nice as when Ryeowook walks up to him and rests his head in the crook of his neck. It doesn't feel right, how the collar smoothly adjusts to his neck, because when Ryeowook sets his face against his neck, the smoothness of his lips brushes against it and it gives him this exhilaration that this jacket doesn't give him.

He shoves his hands down into the jacket's pockets and wonders why it doesn't feel as nice as the times when he pulls Ryeowook's body to him and shoves his hands down into the pockets of the pant that he's wearing. Maybe it's because these pockets are empty and when he puts his hands into Ryeowook's pant pockets, he finds paper clips and other unneeded office supplies and napkins from the dates they go on, and that feels much better than the emptiness of the pockets that the jacket has.

Jongwoon takes his hands out of his pockets and they resort to smoothing down the sides of his jacket, trying to make it fit him better, even though it already does. But when his hands touch his hip bones, he feels like the jacket doesn't do any justice by covering them, because when Ryeowook wraps his legs around them, it's perfect. He's like a puzzle piece, that boy, and everything about him fits onto Jongwoon. The curve of his lips, the shape of his legs, and the sound of his voice when he's mewling into Jongwoon's mouth whenever they kiss.

This jacket fits him all wrong and Jongwoon sighs while he shoves it off his shoulders, thinking that the jacket doesn't hold onto him like he wants it to. But Ryeowook does and when Jongwoon sees that sleeping face that's shivering from the morning cold, he gently drops his jacket on him and crawls into the bed until he's next to him. He aligns his body to Ryeowook's and he notices how they're already fitting together, because what they have is something special and something that's out of this world.

Ryeowook gives him warm coffee cups in the morning, heartfelt kisses in the afternoon, and love for the evenings where he has to work late and needs it. The jacket can stay on him and protect him, rain or shine, but what he and Ryeowook have with each other-it's special and keeps him from getting splashed by the rain and all other types of weatherly conditions. He doesn't need to fit into things that don't already fit on him, because Ryeowook's heart, mind, and body fits so well on him already.

He kisses Ryeowook before he leaves for his meeting and decides to give the jacket to him, simply because it doesn't fit him but thinks that Ryeowook would fit into it better.

Jongwoon walks out of his apartment without a jacket to wear, but he's already wearing Ryeowook's heart on his sleeve and that's the only thing that he feels that he should wear. It's perfect, it covers him, and you can't see it, but he feels it.

After Jongwoon endures the long business meeting and it comes to a finish, Ryeowook walks into his office and Jongwoon sees him wearing the jacket that he gave him.

“You didn't feel like wearing a jacket today?” Ryeowook asks when Jongwoon lays him flat on his desk and their lips and bodies glide against each other.

“It didn't feel right,” Jongwoon tells him and in the back of his mind, there's that same thought that keeps on saying, It doesn't fit me as perfectly as you do.

And when the jacket falls off of Ryeowook's body and onto the floor, he doesn't think that it will ever, ever fit him as right as this relationship does.

(so yeah. this was totally ghey. :|
