also, what is this news i am seeing about how Jay is considering on pulling the plug on Jamiroquai? i hope it's just nasty rumors...

Well, this is technically the last album they have to do with Sony - I've heard Jamiroquai is going to get back to their roots. I have no idea if that means he's going to assemble a new band, or what. Hopefully not.

My understanding is the band rotates quite a bit, and only Jay Kay is the mainstay. Unless I've understood wrong?

Even though Sony have been an awful pressure for them, particularly Jay Kay, they have produced some cracking albums. The last one has been the best yet for me.
