i'm not sure what i'm doing, but i'm going through with it. i have a date...sort of. i have met an incredibly nice, unbelievably beautiful guy. we have only spoken online until now, but i am supposed to meet him for dinner tonight. we have decided to meet in person and become friends. if anything more happens, then so be it (i should be so lucky...

not so hott. he was really nice, but he was a little spastic, and extremely femmy. if i wanted that, i'd date a girl. i know girls who aren't as femmy as he was. he was also a little too into the lord of the rings for my taste...i mean, they were good movies. i enjoyed them. this guy, however, was one small step away from runing around in the woods in costumes with complete strangers role playing and correcting each other on the nuances of their character portrayal (using the original texts as a guide, of course). just not sure about this whole thing...

I understand what you mean. I once went out with a guy that had very similar beliefs. It was kind of scary.

How are things going for you otherwise, any other prospects for dating out there?

no prospects at all...but everything else is peachy. i love my job, i have great friends, and life in general is very good. i just don't have someone to hold in my arms and say "i love you" to. i don't even give a crap about sex at this point. i just want to hold someone and love them. i want to kiss and snuggle. i want to hold someone to me and feel them holding me, too. sex isn't where it's at for me...intimacy is what it's all about.
