For the greater Vancouver region.

Never would have found out, 'cept the kids got a notice sent home with them from school. Now I wish I hadn't given away our electric kettle in the last big moving purge.

I've been listening to the weather reports from your region, and wondered how you were doing!

Our area is fine, we're very lucky. My parents' place in Langley, which usually floods and loses power before anywhere else, has also been lucky *knock wood*.

Truth be told, I haven't really noticed it as being much worse than our normal Oct/Nov torrential rains. It's just been more steady than usual I guess.

On that note, how are your plans for coming out here in the spring? Still on, I hope?

Enh, sadly, no. New job = only one week of vacation, and that'll be our annual camping trip. The kids'll be counting on that.

So, I'm disappointed :

Aww, sad I'm gonna have to wait longer to meet you, sad you're not getting the trip you were looking forward to. But yeah, the annual camping trip is a must for all families that do it :) Hope the new job is going smoothly, BTW.
