I'm completely with you, screw age differences. What most people see to be age: age in years, is how close to death a person's body is compared to the current human life expectancy. True age is found in the heart and mind of a person. Nothing else matters except what people feel for each other.
Anyone who feels that since somebody else was born into this world a few rotations of the earth around the sun sooner than someone else they can't be close to each other is blind.
Gregg love, your age differences don't matter. if you were like 25 then maybe it would be a little sketchy, but seeing as how you aren't you are fine =) For example usually it is considered a unversed no no as you put it for a girl to date a guy who is younger than her, but if you look at my relationship it is just that, so gregg darlin, i would say go for it! And tel me how it turns out, and if you ever want to go on a double date, i would be more than up for it!
Haha, we may actually have to do such a double thingy, or at least find a "chaperone" or something silly like that. That way we won't be ALONE! Oh no! Not Like I even know what the hell to do in such a situation :)
Hmmm...well, I hope a few of my comments were not what lead to the fuckshitting of Gregg...I have perhaps a few "middleman" words to say, though.
My initial reaction of shock I think was derived more from "she's 16... in a few days ". And, while a year, let alone a few days, really shouldn't be the difference between being ok and a little shocked, it was for me, for some reason. Now, also, in my own view, the age thing "social no-no" to me, is not a matter of legality. Screw legalities. To me, its a matter of maturity. On average, a 19 year old who has been through the first year of college is more mature than a 16 year old, and is likely to be on a different intellectual and emotional playingfield. Thus I arch my eyebrow not because of any law or social stereotype (although as some have mentioned before me, there does arrive a point when it is just wrong - like if you were 25), but because I'm not sure if a relationship can exist between two people who are on such different planes of maturity. Its certainly nothing against the

Yup, you're a middleman, not a ***********. The ************ was a direct result of potential "There's no way you're hanging out with/dating/being friends with my daughter because you're 3 years older" sentiment.
I was also a tad surprised upon my discovery of the birthday placement, but what the hell :)
I don't often meet new people, let alone girls whom I feel comfortable interacting with, so maturity isn't a huge deal at all to me. I feel that once we've matured (if at all) we still retain our past levels of maturity so it is a simple thing to regress a few years if necessary. Anyways, girls SUPPOSEDLY mature faster than guys anyways, so we're probably on a fairly even playing field :)

Two cents are better than one.
