How they first met and how it left a deep impression on a certain Nam Woohyun.
The first time Woohyun met Hoya was as trainees. The company assembled them once, and announced the possibility of them debuting as a group. This, of course, made them euphoric, and they began training and practicing with a new spirit along. Woohyun was not the most social person in the company, and he was quite nervous, to be honest, when knowing that he would be in the same group as these people he had never met before. The only one he actually had talked to before the whole announcement was Sunggyu, and that was because they had the same vocal trainer, and if he was not mistaken, the most he had spoke to the boy was about how their trainer makes weird expressions when she does certain notes (and although they could laugh along together while imitating that certain expression, they never really meet outside vocal training).
Woohyun glanced at the other six faces and despite him not being the most outgoing person, he was indeed one of the most informed. He knew all other six, he had seen them more than several times, and he actually knew each and every one names. Woohyun now wondered why he never really considered about talking to them before.
The company’s representative said that they were going to have a fifteen minute break before they start their official practice as a group. The others took this opportunity to introduce themselves and get to know each other.
Woohyun decided to start with the boy sitting right next to him, the one that seemed to sweat the most out of all of them, and Woohyun recalled that he once saw him dancing in the practice room, and he was not just dancing, he was dancing amazingly, his body seemingly moving mindlessly and so easily, just flowing to the music, and Woohyun also recalled himself gaping in front of the door for like five minutes watching this boy dancing, completely forgetting that he was more than an hour late for vocal training.
The boy noticed Woohyun staring at him for a few minutes and before he could question, Woohyun has already extended his hand and smiled. “Hi, I’m Nam Woohyun. Though, just call me Woohyun.” He said politely, and the other boy seemed to perk up with interest. “You’re… Lee Howon, right?”
The other boy frowned, his aura looking dim, and he got up from his place immediately, not sparing Woohyun a glance, and not saying a word in return.
Woohyun was left dumbfounded.

“You were so weird back then.”
“The hell are you talking about in the middle of us cooking like this?”
“You could’ve just said you wanted to be called Hoya but no, you actually left and ignored me for more than a week.”
“You were the one bragging about being so well-informed, so it was normal for me to assume that you knew.”
“I actually thought that we might never talk at all even after we debut.”
“I’m sensitive, not insensible. Now stop talking about random things.”
“I was honestly scared back then, I kept thinking, ‘ohgod we haven’t even debut but here I am already having a fight with one of the members, ohgod what if we’re going to disband early?!’ or ‘oh god, what if they decided to not have the band debut because of us?!’ and I’d freak out every night thinking about it.”
“….Woohyun. The eggs are burnt.”
“WAAAA, NO NO NO NO---Wait. We’re not cooking eggs! HOYA!”
“Hoya: 1, Woohyun: 0~ Assa!”
“I hate you, Hoya. You’re a meanie~”
“Hmm. Exactly why I’m gonna take this pot and eat the soup all by myself.”
“You--! Get back here! Put that back!”
“Catch me if you can~~”
“Hoyaaaaaaaaa!”

In a room not far from the kitchen, there were five people currently dying out of hunger.

Note: FORGIVE ME FOR MY RANDOMNESS. I swear, this was one of the most randomest drabbles I’ve ever made -_-“ This was inspired by the same thing that inspired me for my other HoWoo/WooYa/WooWon fic “Say My Name”, which is how Hoya didn’t like Woohyun calling him ‘Howon’ and how he prefers to be called ‘Hoya’.
Okay, to be honest, I was working on another HoWoo when writer’s block got to me… So, to look for inspiration I read some of my old and abandoned fics and then I found this… And somehow this was easier to continue than that other HoWoo fic. *sigh* I’m such a hopeless writer.
Hope you enjoyed it though. This was short, and has no plot whatsoever.. I apologize for not being able to give you a better HoWoo fic yet. I’ll try to continue that other HoWoo fics and I’ll post it as soon as possible!
