“Truth or dare?”
It was a really simple question with really simple possibilities of answers that were either ‘truth’ or ‘dare’. It was what comes afterwards that made the members of U-KISS who were playing the game deep into thought as they consider the consequences of both options.
Hoonmin, as the currently questioned one, pursed his lips, wondering which option he should choose. Truth seemed like a safer one at this point, since the previous player-none other than Shin Dongho-had to endure drinking a mixture of lemon juice and chopped chili while the others seamlessly tickled him (the maknae had had a few trips to the bathroom ever since; guilt filling up the members, the whole group had decided to let the youngest quit the game). Hoonmin grimaced as the memory of the tangy and zesty mixture was still lingering on his tongue, despite him only taking one sip.
“Decision, Hoonmin-ah?” Soohyun asked, waving his hand in front of the main vocal. The said boy smiled, settling with his answer.
“Truth.” He said, but with the mocking smirks and knowing glances the other sent to each other, Hoonmin had a very, very bad feeling that everything will end up nastily.
Kevin spared him a grin. “So, Hoonmin-ah.” He began, the whole group’s attention on him. “Have you ever jerked yourself while thinking of a guy?” He asked, his eyes twinkling with that sparkle of innocence that you know Kevin Woo does not possess.
If Hoonmin was drinking, then he would have spluttered all his drink on Kevin. Unfortunately, he wasn’t, so he couldn’t stall to get some time and he couldn’t drench Kevin with coke. The vocalist attempted to glare at the younger boy but the blush creeping on his cheeks blew it away.
“So?” Eli chimed in, being no help whatsoever to Hoonmin’s humiliation. “Have you?”
The main vocal let out a deep sigh, before staring the members skeptically (or as he tried to). “Yes.” He admitted. “Yes, I have.”
“Aha!” Kiseop nearly jumped in his spot as he gave an accusing finger to the vocalist. “I knew you weren’t completely straight!” He cried out loud, and Hoonmin had the urge to cover his face or disappear from earth.
“So… was it a member?” Dongho, from the sofa across the room, piped in. Ohh, Hoonmin had a lot of people to murder now.
“I believe the concept of ‘truth or dare’ was merely one question of truth, so I refuse to answer anymore.” He simply replied. Everyone reluctantly agreed but Dongho had managed to convinced Hoonmin somehow with his overflowing aegyo for the main vocal to tell the maknae who it was. Hoonmin decided Dongho was trustworthy enough to keep his secret. He rested his case.
“Next!” Jaeseop said excitedly, spinning the bottle in the middle of where the members were forming a circle. He was beginning to enjoy the game as he learned more and more things about his beloved members.
The bottle spun a couple of times before its pace became slower. It revolved gradually around the members, coming to a halt when its head pointed to Kiseop. Cheers erupted and filled the small living room as the members were more than excited for Kiseop’s turn since the boy was such an easy target for games like these. The unlucky boy scowled and frowned at the enthusiasm going on for his later misery.
“So, Kiseop-ah.” Soohyun tilted his head to the side a bit, an obvious mischievous smile plastered on his face. “Truth or dare?”
Kiseop gave it a thought. He had to think about this well or else it would backlash him, real bad (like how any other game that Kevin suggested did).
“Isn’t it obvious? I mean, Kiseop would totally go for dare.” Eli remarked, joining the bullying team. Kiseop narrowed his eyes at the rapper.
“Yeah, why even ask? Truth’s too simple for Kiseop. Dare is obviously what he’ll choose.” Hoonmin added, and Dongho found himself nodding enthusiastically to the vocalist’s statement. Jaeseop merely chuckled, amused.
“Yup. It’s Kiseop who we’re talking about! Who would Lee Kiseop be to not take up to challenges?” Kevin uttered coyly, but the teased boy had more defense than everyone else had thought.
“I’m not going for dare.” The dancer stated determinedly, arms crossing in front of his chest. “Truth.”
An eerie silence followed.
“…For real?” Eli asked in disbelief, breaking the silence. All the other members looked at Kiseop in shock.
“Yup.” Kiseop nodded his head confidently. “Come on, give me questions!” He bounced in his spot, eager (and satisfied from his bandmates’ reactions).
Everyone glanced at each other, slightly taken aback from the turn of events. A few seconds of sending uneasy glances to one another passed before the typical mischievous glint crossed Kevin’s eyes.
“Okay then.” The second youngest said, staring at Kiseop with a smile too sickeningly sweet to be true on his face. “Kiseop-ah… Do you think you’re a good kisser?”
The said boy’s eyes widened at the question. It clearly wasn’t something he expected. “Well…” He hesitated, scratching the back of his head. “Yes? I’m pretty sure I am.” He finally answered.
Playful smirks began to adorn each and every member of U-KISS (other than Kiseop, obviously) as they realized where this was heading to.
“Really?” Soohyun gave the dancer a cynical look, brows furrowed.
Feeling challenged, the questioned boy dared to talk back to his leader. “Yes. Actually, I’m convinced I’m the best kisser in the group.” He stated boldly with a proud grin.
“I find that hard to believe…” Dongho mumbled, looking unconvinced. Kiseop huffed in annoyance at the incredulity around him.
“I really am. Geez, why don’t you guys trust me…” He grumbled, a dejected look on his face. The other members tried hard to stifle their laughs.
“Then prove it.”
All eyes turned to Jaeseop who merely shrugged. “Prove it, Kiseop-ah. Show us that you’re indeed a good kisser. Then maybe we’ll believe you.” The rapper’s eyes were impassive but a smug smirk was still present in his features.
And that was the final blow to send Kiseop over the edge.
The dancer narrowed his eyes, glaring at the rapper. “Oh, I’ll prove it to you. I’ll show everyone here that I really am U-KISS’ best kisser!” He uttered, unwavering. “My name’s Kisseop for a reason, you know.”
Soohyun secretly made a fist-bump with Eli, victorious grins on their faces as everything was going exactly how the group wanted. Kevin’s smirk grew bigger.
“Well, Kiseop-ah,” Kevin propped his chin on his palm as he gazed at the said boy, the ever so mischievous grin only growing every second. “Since Jaeseop seemed like the least convinced between us, how about you go prove it and kiss him? If you manage to win over him, then we’ll believe you.”
Kiseop stared at the members who were urging him to hurry and get doing what Kevin said. He moved his gaze to Jaeseop, the younger boy showing no disagreement to the suggestion.
“Alright.” He stood up, approaching the rapper. “I’ll show you guys.” There was strong determination in Kiseop’s eyes and expression, but it appeared to waver slightly as he became eye-level with Jaeseop.
The dancer was face to face to Jaeseop who was sitting cross-legged, the younger boy’s features looking sharper (his jagged nose, his brown orbs, his evident cheekbones, his overall gorgeous face) as it was the first time Kiseop had actually came this close and paid full attention to the boy in front of him. The older boy gulped at the intensity of Jaeseop’s gaze directed at him, it had made him nervous somehow. Jaeseop’s lips formed a small smirk, but it quickly disappeared behind his perfect poker face as he closed his eyes. “Whenever you’re ready, Kiseop.”
The said boy let out one long deep breath, calming himself. All he had to do was kiss Jaeseop’s pink, moist, and tempting lips-what? Kiseop shook his head vigorously, shaking all the wrong thoughts away, focusing on his goal: convincing Jaeseop that he was a good kisser. Then everyone would believe him.
Slowly closing the distance between them, Kiseop gently cupped Jaeseop’s cheek, his head tilted to the side to avoid bumping their noses together. He could feel the rapper warm breath ghosting over his lips as he advanced nearer and little by little the gap between them was no more, Kiseop’s lips pressing against Jaeseop’s.
There was a small gasp made by Jaeseop as the rapper tumbled backwards, fortunately his arm supported him and preventing him from falling flat on his back. Kiseop had to stand on his knees to keep the kiss going, his lips moving sensually against Jaeseop’s as the kiss slowly evolved into an open-mouthed one.
Before any tongue action was involved, Kiseop broke the kiss. The two boys were panting for oxygen, cheeks flushed. Kiseop sat back, chest heaving up and down, still trying to gain his normal breathing pace. “Well?” He asked.
Jaeseop wiped the wet saliva from the edge of his lips with the back of his hand, before licking his slightly swollen lips. He gazed at the anticipating guy in front of him, expressionless. “That was the sloppiest kiss I had ever had.” He deadpanned.
Kiseop’s eyes dilated. “What?”
“Clearly, you lack experience, Kiseop-ah.” He remarked, casually fixing his collar. Soohyun, Eli, and Kevin burst out laughing.
“Oh God, so much for the best kisser in U-KISS!!” Eli said in between laughs. Dongho joined him not long after, stifling his giggles with the couch’s cushion. Hoonmin couldn’t help but chuckle along.
Kiseop’s face turned a deep shade of red from embarrassment. This wasn’t right. He was confident about his kissing skills! Jaeseop was wrong. He was going to prove Jaeseop wrong.
“This can’t be!” Kiseop grabbed Jaeseop by the collar and forced his lips against the rapper’s. The younger boy was taken by surprise and he clearly wasn’t ready when Kiseop’s tongue intruded his warm cavern. He suppressed the moan that was threatening to escape when Kiseop pulled away, a hopeful look on his face. Jaeseop had to remember how to breathe whilst he tried to pacify his heart over the sudden rise of heart rate. He stared at the other’s expectant eyes and he couldn’t restrain a smug smile from appearing.
“That was even worse.” He muttered mockingly. There was a glimpse of disappointment and determination on Kiseop’s features, but before Jaeseop could comment any further, Kiseop smashed their lips together once again, with more intensity this time. The rapper didn’t even bother to hide that pleased grin as Kiseop continued to kiss him every time he said it was lacking. He was so going to take advantage of this.
The other members watched (not so) quietly by the side while their two bandmates proceeded to make out.
“Jaeseop’s totally doing it on purpose, isn’t he?” Hoonmin asked, a small chuckle escaping his lips in amusement. Soohyun nodded.
“Obviously.” The leader said, shaking his head at the overly-determined Kiseop who persist to assault Jaeseop’s lips.
Eli laughed in glee. “I wonder how long they’ll keep doing it.” He tossed around the bottle they used before, juggling it as if he was a circus clown putting up an act.
“We should really do more ‘truth or dare’ games.” Kevin haughtily said, content with the aftermath of the game he suggested. Ideas for their next game began forming in his head. “Oh, speaking of which. Hoonmin-ah, you still haven’t told us the member you imagine while you jerk off.” He causally inquired, and the said boy turned crimson red while Eli and Soohyun began to take interest into the topic.
A small clicking sound was heard. Dongho grinned, satisfied at the image of his two hyungs smooching displayed on his phone. “I wonder how much money I’ll get from selling this to fangirls…”
(After the umpteenth kiss, Jaeseop could no longer hold the laughter that had been bubbling in him. He pushed the older boy away to unleash the laughing fits. Kiseop frowned. “Still not good enough?” He inquired, obvious frustration in his voice.
Jaeseop faced him with a wide grin as he wiped away the tears from his eyes. “Until you agree to be my boyfriend, then no.” He said, later blushing slightly at realizing how bold he was to say so. Kiseop’s mouth went agape, shocked by the sudden confession. Despite having kissed the younger boy for countless times that day, heat was only beginning to creep up on his cheeks just now.
Jaeseop cleared his throat, smiling sweetly at the older boy. “So?”
Kiseop let out a deep sigh, smiling shyly as he gazed straight into the other’s eyes. “Yes.”
Jaeseop chuckled, pleased, before planting a chaste kiss on Kiseop’s lips. “Then you’re the best kisser in the whole wide world.”)

a/n: FINALLY GOT THIS OUT OF MY SYSTEM IDE. I’ve always wanted to write a cute fluffy 2Seop fic and this idea was bugging me, moreover after I watched the interview (a veeeery old one btw) where the boys said that Kiseop was a salty-dol who simply won’t accept if he loses. Somehow, from that this happened. Yes, irrelevant, I know. oTL
Anyway! I hope you enjoyed it. I think there’s a HUGE lack of fics for the adorable 2Seop in the fandom and I swear that’s unfair to all 2Seop shippers. So, here I give you this, fellow shippers! I know it’s still lacking it many parts but I hope it at least fulfills your 2Seop craving :-)))))
This was also crossposted at AFF, jsyk. :)
Hope you enjoyed the fic! I look forward to your comments! Thank you!! ^^
