So Christmas came and went. 'Twas good. Hope everyone is well.
I'm still debating on the guitar. I think I'm gonna get it... Hmm..

Last night was quite interesting. This guy Kevin keeps on harrassing me, mocking my religion and such. I've blocked him tons of times but he has a million screen names. So I let my sister Heather deal with him this time. ( Read more... )

Kdiddy7415: its a known fact that all redheads worship satan (HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA)
Kdiddy7415: because satan is red too (BAAAAAAAHAHAHAHA)

oh my God.... what a moron.

And hey, don't take too much offense to him saying you're going to hell and stuff, he'd probably tell me I'm going to hell too because I'm not catholic. Oh my God though, what an idiot. He linked Mormon with Pagan, that's like the most impossibly stupid things a person could do. I hate people like that.

if you think what you believe is the way to go, then why argue about it and try to make the other person feel stupid about what they are saying? why point fingers back at them and stoop to their level. there's no sense in doing that. the conversation as a whole between the both of you was ridiculous and immature.

She merely tried to educate him when he made false assumptions about mormons. Maybe your right and arguing about it is bad, but you know what, we could all use a healthy argument once in a while.

I'm just simply SICK AND TIRED of people spreading lies and mocking others. And no, not just me, but others. If someone I know was being mocked by some twirp, I'd defend them. And I didn't make the other person feel stupid. They were stupid already. And keep in mind, I've been dealing with this freak for like 2 years. And by the way, let's also keep in mind, that it was my SISTER saying that, not me. So fully read everything before you take shots at me. Sorry for defending myself, for the bazillionth time. But I'm going to let this slide, because you don't know the background to this, and you don't understand the situation. But I swear, stop leaving comments on my LJ accusing me of things, and not even having the fricken guts to leave your name. Face up, THEN come yap at me.

Not trying to infringe on your right to freedom of religion or anything, but the Book of Mormon also says you can become God of your own universe after dying and that God was once human. And polygamy is traditionally a Moromon idea (many of the early Mormons in Utah practiced it because their population was so low).

Not to be insulting or anything, just informing.

I'm not sure you can say polygamy was a Mormon idea, when it has been going on since the beginning of time...? (or maybe I just misunderstood what you were trying to say? =\ ) but..
yes, LDS did practice polygamy back in the 1800s for a very short time. and only a very few select men could do it. They didn't want to, but they believed in God and that he was ordering(for lack of a better word) them to have multiple wives for a short time, so they did it. There were men in the Bible who practiced polygamy .. Abraham(who is accepted by most religions ), Jacob, and I think it was Isaac (don't quote me on that, I can't remember which one it was. I just woke up. I can tell you once my brain is fully functioning coherently). I know you all think that still doesn't give men the right to polygamy, and I would normally agree, but back then, it was prophecied (sp?)that a very select men could have more than one wife, only because a great amount of men were killed by mobs and on the journey across america in the dead of winter when the LDS were ( ... )

Well I totally agree with the attacks on your religion being wrong and unfair, and Joseph and Hyrum clearly shouldn't have been physically harmed for their beliefs. I do have a couple of questions though ( ... )

to try to put it simply:

We believe that the Lord our God is the same yesterday, today, tomorrow and always.
Peter heard it from Jesus himself.
He gives the same message to both continents. (they didn't exactly have telephones or anything to spread the word of God so.. He did it himself. We also believe prophets and disciples teach by the spirit, which is directed by God, hence he was recieving direct inspiration from God on what to say through the Holy Spirit ( ... )

and also..when you talked about romans being christians..you werent referring to roman catholics were you? because catholics are most definitely christian
and the kkk is in fact a christian extremist group

that was Kevin talking about the romans and kkk
and I think he was talking about the 'bloodthirsty romans' which I don't think are roman catholics
and I know catholics are christian. of course!
and the kkk, unfortunately, though they're horrible people, are christian too.
but some people would say that the kkk isn't christian because of the things they did/carried out.
but of course, catholics are definately christian.
