Things that made me happy about today: getting a good night's sleep for once, the best jump school I've had with connor since june, and Phil Arevalo.

Winter break always does a very good job of reminding me who and what I will always need in my life--and who and what I can do without.  

Dear lord, I have missed Glen Echo.

Never, never, never again will I go a full 4 months without swing dancing.   WHAT was I thinking?

Aaaaah I'm so tired but so happy right  now. 

OMG WEST SIDE STORY AT THE NATIONAL.

So!  I promised a detailed report for some people, and so here it is.

The show was not perfect, but it was incredibly gorgeous.  West Side Story has remained one of my favorite musicals because it is so beautiful, and thank goodness, this production was.  I spent soooo much of the show tearing up.  The dances ( Read more... )
