She might very well die. Prepare your mind for that possibility now, and at best, you get some of the best moments of your life, her pulling through. If she doesn't, you'll have softened the blow for yourself.

Harsh? Not really, when you think of how it helps steel oneself to save as many others as they can.

You are not helping. Of course I know this, how could I look at Fred, see her so pale and still, and not know?

I had enough of that back in Pylea. It sucked there, and it sucks here, too.
