I'm not actually reading them at the same time. Right now, I'm reading White Oleander but before that I had started The Sacred Bones. I'll be going back to that once I've finished reading White Oleander. And Cell has been on hiatus for like, a month.
I still cant do that! I need to pick up a book and read it through before I open up another one. My mind is already too jumbled without following multiple stories at a time..
Yeah, it gets hard sometimes. I don't usually do it but sometimes I get distracted by other books that look more appealing than the one I'm currently reading and then it's all a mess. I can't help it. It's like a sickness. I'm a avid-reader with, what I think is, ADD. I don't know how I'll be able to get back into 'Cell'! :/
Stephenie Meyer, bleh. No offense but I'm not a fan of her literacy... I've read better vampire books (I can recommend you to some! Just ask me :D) but her saga is, uh, ALRIGHT. It's still a good series to go through so you can see the contrast between the traditional vampire/werewolf literacy... I could go on and on about this but I'll keep my trap shut. Hee.
p.s. I'm an english/art/lingustics major, I've read my share of awesome books, I can suggest a million from one genre, just hit me up ;)
I agree about Meyer all the way. Definately not of the better, more enjoyable things I've read. I'm only on book 2 but it seems to be grabbing me less than the first one did. Actually, I blame the excitement I had reading the first one on the fact that it was something new in a genre I love. I would love to get some recommendations on supernatural(vampire/werewolf) fiction. :D It's one of my favorite genres but I have alot of favorite genres soo...
I have some supernatural romance series, but there's this one (18 books out so far... planning on releasing 24. I think) by Laurell K Hamilton - it's the Anita Blake series. You can find out more about this here - just look under the Works tab and click on the Anita Blake link. There's this series by Kim Harrison (not as romantic as the Anita Blake series, but it's good), found here - click on The Books link and it'll show you The Hollows series, all in order. I'll have to dig around in my bookcase for some more good series. The Anne Rice series (found here, look under the Anne's Bookshelf tab, just go from there) is also good - this is what got me into vampires in the first place. :)
