Tutorial 003

Ok a new Gimp tutorial (i guess it´s tranlatable as usual)

we´re going from:

This time i´m using a pic of W.R. in 'girl, interrupted'; anyway, let´s start :)

Step 1: you know this, crop and resize, sharpen if you need to. ok now we have the base.



Step 2: duplicate your base four times, set the two layers closer to the base to screen 100%, the next one to overly 40%, and the one in the top to screen 100%



Step 3: new layer and paste this texture by...(sorry again, don´t remember but it´s credited in my Resource page).
Set it to soft light 40%.



Step 4: new layer and fill it with light purpple?
(f2b3f8) set it to soft light.



Step 5: now duplicate the base, set it to soft light and drag it to the top 85%

Step 6: now merge all layers. duplicate the new base and change the lightness and contrast (mine: lightness -4, contrast +32)



Step 7: now Gaussian blur (mine 1.0) and erase everything but the skeen.

Step 8: finally merge all yaers and you´re done :)



So i hope you´ll like it.
