Sports Manga

 Lately I have been trying to read a couple of sports manga, both shonen and shoujo (I only know two)! I don't really know why. Maybe cuz I was bored waiting for the manga I usually read to be updated, so I decided to read some sports manga that I've been interested in.

i think the only sports manga that i've read was Eyeshield 21 and captain tsubasa, but i read some of Crimson Hero (i don't know why i stopped reading it though). I'm not really into sports manga/anime.

I hope you don't start reading it then, cuz the latest chapter made me mad! The school finds out Nobara is living with the boys and leaves. and the stupid principal tells her to stop playing volleyball and let the boys team win. I'm not much of a feminist but THAT pissed me off! >_>

neither was I until I read Eyeshield 21. It's why I wanted to read more sports manga, but I see now that some are not as entertaining as ES 21.

captain tsubasa was about a bunch of kids that played soccer in their elementary school, and they had the dream to go to the world cup. It's a pretty old manga.
wow ,rally, normally those types of manga show that everything is possible if you have the passion for the sport and the main characters would never let the other team win (boys or girls) that really sucks for the nobara not to be able to play anymore

I love EY 21, i thought it was hilarious, i was kinda sad when it ended because everyone was in different teams and stuff (well not everyone, but some were)

I just checked it out. It's the same series that my brother used to watch in Spanish years ago. I would read it, if the artwork wasn't so...weird...their heads look so small. Hajime no Ippo has better art than this.

yeah but she made a deal with the principal that the girls can win the spring tournament as well.

I was sad too but it made sense to me. I wish for more ES 21, like competing for the Rice Bowl but oh well.

have you read the FMA manga? o3o I'm thinking about it after i heard it's more epic than the original anime. but Brotherhood is the same as the manga so I dunno >_<;

btw, my Lili doujinshi came yesterday. I was gonna scan some pages for you but since the ink cartage is out, i can't scan ;3; wait a while longer kay? ^^; lol, this doujinshi made me love ItaLiech so much moar!! there's even a AmericaLiech part!

I recommend ES 21, pretty long but funny. or Full Contact, you get shonen-ai vibes just reading that manga xD

no, I gave up on FMA when the anime ended. I had enough of it. I heard it was better than the anime though. so I guess you should continue? sorry, not much help. ^^;;
