My Heater Broke -__-

I'm pretty annoyed that my heater broke today. It was cold cuz of the rain so I turned it on, expecting to hear that humming noise it makes when I hear this weird sound and check that the fan wasn't moving, and it was turning red and started to burn. So I turned it off. After work, I tried it out again and it still didn't work. I told my brother ( Read more... )

It sounds as though your electrical system is providing to much current. This is dangerous and you should have it checked. If you are a renter, tell your landlord. If not, call your electric provider.

I think my room has an electrical problem. I can't use any appliance that uses too much power otherwise my power goes out. My parents are aware of the problem, but haven't done much about it since we found a way to avoid it.

I will suggest them to call our electric provider, though. I appreciate the comment. Thank you.

that really sucks, wait did your dvd player, TV and heater broke for the same reason? msybe aacmman is right ( i don't know much about those things)
Last week my mom fridge broke down too, she had to get a new one, all our food went bad (it was a lot since my mom always has tons of food in the fridge). And last summer our AC broke down too which really suck since it was in mid summer (around 110F), we were sooooo hot,i almost wanted to get in the fridge

Well no. While I lived in Florida, my tv and my dvd player just stopped working. I really didn't get why since there was nothing wrong with it and they weren't old appliances either. My 1st heater broke down in December. I think it's my own fault cuz I kept turning it on and off. Same reason why the 2nd heater broke I guess. I'm not sure about this stuff either.

Oh that sucks! What a waste of food. :(
I know the feeling. We didn't have a A/C back then, all we had were cheap fans. Better than nothing. but it was still so hot. Now we have an A/C but it only works in the living room so I spend my time there when it gets too hot in my own room.

we didn't have fans, and it was a friday so the ppl that were going to fix it only worked from monday through friday, so we were without AC 3 days >__<, i guess i shouldn't complain, some ppl have it worst, but now my dad bought a big fan in case the AC brakes down again.
