I think its pretty safe to say I had a horrible day at school today, err well actually I was having a fine time at my writing class tonight up until the time I left. I havent had any formal type of writing courses in years and tonight for the last hour he just throws us an essay prompt and were supposed to write. Yeah ok fine no big deal, I think

Eh, don't let him get to ya'. Some instructors have a "God" complex, just as do many physicians, and getting through their classes is more a matter of learning to handle their psychotic behavior than it is mastering the material.

It's a pity you had to get one of those characters your very first semester, though. If things don't smooth out after a few classes, maybe you'll want to consider looking at your drop and add options, etc.

I think what it really is for me is that I dont take criticism well, and considering I thought I had done well on the essay it really just didnt go over like it probably normally would have. There's only 4 people in the class and I feel like everyone saw him putting down pretty much everything I had written. I thought about asking for the paper back so i could continue working on it the rest of the time but I was so put off by then that I just wanted to go ahead and leave.
