Ben had one earphone in, KANSAS playing as he was under the hood, checking the plugs. Hearing the voice of the new person, he lifted his head a bit, turning it, then stood up and pulled the earpiece out.

"You must be Pete's niece," Ben stated.

Miranda flashed him a bright grin. The resemblance to a certain hot dad in her life wasn't lost on her, but she figured it would be nice for someone to not automatically jump on the fact that he looked just like his father.

"Miranda," she said with a nod as she made her way over to him, before stretching out her hand.

"I'm Ben." He wiped his oily hands on his jeans, then held out one to her. She could choose to shake it or not. He wasn't picky.

Neither was she. She gave his hand a warm squeeze, before pulling back slightly and clasping her hands behind her back and looking over the engine.

"How do you like the cars so far?"
