The atmosphere was anything but dull in the excitement of the new year fast approaching.  Ai, herself, skipped down the street, weaving between crowds, and smiling ear to ear. Yuki stepped into one of those sweet shops, her eyes glancing the shelves filled with sweets. She wanted to get a small gift for her father, but as she went from counter to counter the young girl couldn't find a thing.

Ai's slender fingers toyed with her lip ring has she continued to walk about the shop, her warm eyes darting to every sweet. "Phwaa~!" she let out in frustration as she tugged gently on the ends of her bright hair. "Why does there have to be so many delicious looking sweets to choose from?!" She was getting no where. Feeling a stubborn streak begin to butt its way in, she planted herself firmly in the center of the shop, determined to not give up until she had bought a nice armful of sweets to enjoy. "Maybe I should ask for help?" she questioned aloud. Without moving her feet, Ai turned from her waist to glance around the shop. 'Whoa~! She's really cute! I'll ask her!' Ai decided as she skipped her way over to the young, doll-like girl.

Yuki sighed looking at all the cakes, they were prefect...to prefect. She shifted her weight a moment then chewed on her bottom lip. She didn't notice AI making her way towards her.
