okay I'm as rusty with comments as you are with writing but no matter what you say I love this. I never get to read you writing happy things/happy gtop and you do it so...idk, uniquely, lol, in that their relationship is kept muted and subtle but there's still that undercurrent of deep feelings there, like how gd's eyes follow him at the party and how his hands clutch at his shirt to keep him there, but its not said with much fanfare: its just part of how they are and it makes so much sense to me. actually I just really like that whole part where top gets to the party! it's so in character with how I picture them in canon that I just. all the feels. and also the beginning reads so work-worn and kind of tired and very gd-headspace esque! anyway yes I love this and am adding it to my headcanon and I will bother you as long as it takes for you to write more lmao <3

It's so good to see fic from you! Talk about tripping across a lonely flower in the desert wasteland of big bang fandom. And of course, you realize, offering this proof that you're still alive and in fandom...*dusts off expectations and sets them on the table* I will be waiting for those other fics, m'dear.

Anyway, this is so happy making and I love the bit about 2ne1 singing pretty damn bad for professionals because I always think that when I hear celebs sing the birthday song, and I wonder if it's just an impossible song to not sing off-key and fail. The gdtop was adorable as is Seunghyun's texting fail and Jiyong's disdain. And Seven and the cake omg.
