Rules:This is a place to share icons, pictures, poems, banners, and just anything you want that can be considered art or creative! Also membership is moderated simply for the fact that there has been a lot of spammers in LJ land lately. You can post as soon as you are a member, though! Hey there! You know, I'm pants at techno. The #1 rule gives me a problem. I will post my art on my lj and make a link on your LJ. Does that mean that I have to lock my own LJ post for it to be available only to the members of this community and nobody else, not even my own friends? Because my LJ isn't open, not Friends only. Did I say I'm pants at this? It make me sad, you have no idea..

That rule just applies to your posts in this community alone. You can have your own LJ settings however you want them. :) Hope that helps!

Let me try this again.

1. Making a post in lovelyarts has to be members only.
2. You can post your art here or you can link to your own journal.
3. The post in your own journal that you link to is whatever setting you want- public, friends only, etc. It's your journal, your own rules.
4. Only the post in here needs to be friends only.

So basically, it's only available to members here. Your link can go to a public post elsewhere. That's fine. I really hope this helps. I'm sorry if my rule has gotten lost in translation somehow! Go ahead and post though! If something is wrong, I won't bite your head off! :)
