I see your value. thats why I spent my whole summer on the phone every night talking to you. jason upton talks about this subject alittle and uses birds as a reference. hopefully this will make sense. God created this blue bird and made it specially to do God plan. but one day the blue bird painted himself red to fit in with these other birds and help them do God will. then God came down and asked where his blue bird was.. he spoke up and said here I am. God asked why are you not blue, he said I had to fit in to this group to help accomplish your will.. and God said... My blue bird dont you understand that I have a purpose just for you that only a blue bird can do.... hahaha

well it wasnt exactly like that but close... hope it helps.. much love

Hey, great music and great quote. I don't think that stepping back and evaluating where we are and our character once In a while, I think that is beneficial and needed to see who we are and where we are going. But it needs to be filtered through as you have said, what God thinks and requires of you...not someone else. (ps...I still think you are awesome and anyone who does not recognize that will answer to me! :) So Here is the time where I would give you my favorite Ozzie quote...oh wait you already have. So here is another one....

"There is only one relationship that really matters, and that is your personal relationship to your personal Redeemer and Lord. If you maintain that at all costs, letting everything else go, God will fulfill His purpose through your life. One individual life may be of priceless value to God's purposes, and yours may be that life."

My dearest Hannah Leigh... my broken heart sister... I'm doing a Bible study on Phillipians, and last night we started chapter one. "To live is Christ, and to die is gain..." those are pretty tall words to live up to. But I realized last night that everything, when put in perspective, doesn't even compare to what Christ did and His love for us. No human circumstance, even death (of the body or the heart) cannot compare to His sacrifice and what He thinks us to be; worth His death. You know I've been struggling with close to the same things you are, and this made a profound impact on me. This world can't touch us, because whatever it is, no matter how much it hurts, it will never overpower the amazingness of Christ Himself.
"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit." -Psalm 34:18
