I really hate being in public with Gackt...even though I told my friends what was going on and they not only support me, they make me feel better by plotting evil deeds against him...but still.... “Gackt,”
“Hm?”
“Must you always have your hand in my back pocket like that?” I asked, looking up at him.
“Of course.” He answered with a big and stupid smile.
“Why?” I asked, blinking at him.
“Because no one will know that you're 'mine' if I didn't.” Gackt replied….my eye twitched at such a stupid answer.
“....Okay, first of all that's WRONG.” I explained, annoyance smothering me.
“How is it wrong?”
“Marking people as YOURS is almost like you're putting a label on them that says 'property of' on it.” I scoffed, rolling my eyes. “Don't you know ANYTHING about relationships? Anyway, the second being that you're attracting unwanted attention.”
“Who says I don't want this attention?” Gackt asked, giving me that annoying smirk.
“I DON'T!” I snapped, wanting to kick him.
It's been two months since we started this annoying farce, and it seems to be going well I guess. I got used to letting him kiss me, and touch me in pervy manners...and I got used to doing the same thing. The pros of all of this stupidity, is I'm able to go to the nicest parties, and get better clothes...not that I really cared for these things, but it's nice to get pampered every now and then...and the cons...well everyone thinks I'm a gold digger....how lovely is that?
“Well why not? It shouldn't matter what everyone thinks you know...” Gackt lectured before whispering in my ear “Especially since this is a lie.”
“Mmm...yeah.” I agreed, sighing deeply....content that not many people were walking down the street we were on. “Neh, what do you want us to do today?”
“Go shopping...for the party tonight.” My companion replied casually...as if the world was very wonderful and kind...instead of the total opposite.
“Ah okay...wait...what party?” I asked, my eyes going wide.
“Mine.” Gackt replied, giving me a huge smile.
“You're throwing a party...and you didn't SAY anything?!” I demanded, glaring at him. “What the fuck is the matter with you?!”
“My father threw parties, what's wrong with that?” My unbearably slow master asked, shrugging with one shoulder.
“He PLANNED THEM FIRST!” I snapped, pulling out of his grasp. “Do you not realize, how long it takes to prepare a party like the ones he threw?! Are you retarded!?”
“Oh stop exaggerating how bad can it be?” Gackt asked.
“You should not be allowed to ASK THAT!!” I roared, stomping down the street…in the opposite direction of where we were going. He’ll see soon enough how bad this will be…for ME anyway.

“Wait...I ASKED for Thirty chicken breasts and TWENTY steaks NOT the other way AROUND!” I wailed into the phone, watching the florists walk around clumsily. “Hold on a second please-STOP THAT!! How many times must I tell you NOT to put those THERE?!-Sorry about that, but yes, I wanted THIRTY chickens and TWENTY steaks. Is there a way I can fix that?” I asked, biting my lip.
“I'm sorry sir, but no there isn't. Due to the fact that this was a same day order.” the man on the other line replied.
“Please, just for me? Come on Tetsu, I bought extra meat from you when you were in debt. Pleeeeeasse?” I pleaded pitifully.
“Ah fine...I'll fix the order, and why the hell did you wait until the last minute anyway?”
“I didn't even know about the party until seven hours ago!” I snapped. “My new boss is a moron.”
“I'll say, who the hell throws a party like this without planning it first?” Tetsu asked in annoyance.
“Like I said, a moro-AH WATCH OU-” I began to wail...when someone knocked over my
former boss' grandfather clock. “Um...Tet-chan,”
“Yeah?”
“I have to go....Later.” And with that I hung up the phone. “Oh shit...look what you did.”
“What's wrong?” Gackt asked, walking in...then his eyes went wide. “Takarai...what the hell happened?”
“He did it!” Several voices wailed, pointing at me.
“What?! NO I DIDN'T!” I shouted.
“How could you? This was my father's!” Gackt nearly shouted.
“I DIDN'T do it!” I said through gritted teeth. Gackt looked very hurt, and it actually made me feel bad...for something I KNOW I didn't do. “Look, I didn't do it, I know how important that clock was to your father so-”
“Shut up! I KNOW you hate us...you hate my father and I both...so why not break it? After you finish preparing the party, get the fuck out and go home....and pack your things!” my master ordered, storming off.
I can't believe this, but then again it's what I wanted in the first place. I continued to make the calls needed to arrange the party and place everything to perfect the party...and as soon as I finished, I went straight home.

I packed my bags and sighed heavily, getting ready to call Ken to let him know that I was on my way...yes I found a place to stay for a bit. I sighed heavily, standing up...when the front door swung open. “Takarai-”
“Leave me alone.” I snapped, glaring at him. I started walking off to get my keys to my car, and maybe something to drink.
“Takrai I'm sorry.” Gackt said firmly following me.
“Well we all have many things to feel sorry for.” I growled, walking over to the phone.
“Stop,” he ordered grabbing my wrist.
“Why the hell should I? I don't work for you anymore...REMEMBER?” I asked, wanting to hit him so hard.
“No, I take it back.” He tried, sounding desperate…if I wasn’t angry at him I think I’d laugh myself into a coma.
“Why? Because you'll become a peasant like me? Because you want to keep that stupid bitch off of you? Because-?” I couldn’t help but rant, giving him the worst glare I could possibly muster…without my face falling off.
“You DIDN'T break that damn clock!” Gackt snapped at me, grabbing my shoulders. I blinked at him, my jaw dropping.
“What?” I asked. He rested his forehead against mine, making sure I could look him in the eye…whether I wanted to or not.
“You. Didn't. Break. The. Clock.” He said slowly and firmly, poking me in the side of my head with emphasis to every word.
“What makes you a believer NOW?!” I asked glaring at him.
“I forgot something...and at the party I instantly remembered.” Gackt confessed.

“I don't think that butler broke that clock.” a nearby gossiper whispered. “After that one incident...I don't think he'd EVER.”
- - -
“And that incident IS?” I asked.
“That time you got into that fight...when those thieves broke in. Do you remember that?” Gackt asked.
- -
“Let's take that portrait...and that old crusty ass clock.” One of the three thieves said casually, pointing his flashlight around.
“You'll take neither.” I snarled, walking towards them. I was twenty two...and barely five feet tall at the time, and I had helped serve people at a party late that night, and was asked to stay to get some rest...when this happened. Great huh? The only thing I had to defend myself, was an umbrella....and of course that earned me cruel laughter instead of fear. “Get the fuck out, before I alert the security and call the police.”
The response I received, was a flashlight hitting me hard in the face. I fell to the floor, clutching my injury. “Aww look the tiny little security guard is hurt. Should we help him?” one of the thieves asked with a laugh. I stood up, wincing at them, only for one to pull out a gun.
“Still want to fight?” he asked with a smirk.
“Of course I will.” I snapped, glaring at him. “That clock is very important to my boss. You can take his portrait, but LEAVE THAT CLOCK ALONE!” I shouted.
“Why do you care? He's just a rich spoiled old geezer, who probably doesn't give a shit about ANY of you!”
“Fuck you! You don't know anything.” I snapped, my fists clenching. “You're going to have to shoot me...because you're not going to take that clock.”
“What makes you think that?” the other thief asked, tilting his head.
“I have a gun pointed at the back of your head.” a voice replied casually. I blinked in surprise at that.
“Who the fuck are you?!” One of the thieves demanded. I heard a very loud *click *
“The one with the gun pointed at you...so...are you going to get lost and leave little butlers alone, or am I going to have to blow away your thoughts?”
“Let's go men.” the main thief suggested, before they all left. As soon as the door shut, the lights turned on, and eighteen year old Gackt walked over to me. Of course, he was tall...and even in his rebellious teenage attire, that proved that he had snuck out that night, he still looked good....disgusting.
“So much for defending my father's clock.” he mocked. “And you're supposed to be the full grown man.”
“Shut up.” I snapped, holding my face. “I'm going back to bed.”
“Hey, for what it's worth...thanks.” Gackt said, making me stop in my tracks.
“For what?” I asked, glaring at him through my tears.
“For saving my dad's most prized possession.”
“I did no such thing.” I snapped, storming off.

“You forgot that night?” I asked, rolling my eyes.
“I'm sorry, I....and then on my way out I heard the culprit talking about how stupid I was...and that pissed me off...so I ended the party early.” Gackt said quietly, running his fingers through my hair. “I'm really, REALLY sorry.”
“Yeah whatever.” I scoffed looking elsewhere.
“What? Are you still mad?” Gackt asked.
“Uh, YEAH.” I snapped, glaring at him. “You humiliated me in front of those assholes and you didn't believe a thing I tried to say! It's true I fucking hate you, but I would NEVER do anything like that to you OR your father! I-” My speech was silenced, with a deep and passionate kiss, as he slammed me against the wall. I shoved him off. “What the FUCK are you doing?!” I demanded, gagging.
“Well...I kind of felt like practicing.” Gackt laughed sheepishly, looking elsewhere.
“Yeah, and sky is forever GREEN.” I snapped, going to plop on the couch. “So...I can stay?”
“Yes, and...I'm sorry.” Gackt said again.
“Yeah, you keep saying that.” I scoffed.
“No...um...I just found out something interesting.” my companion said with guilt and worry in his eyes.
“What?” I asked.
“She's having you stalked by private investigators.” Gackt warned, pouting.
“.....I know.” I said bluntly opening my can of juice.
“Wait you KNOW?!” Gackt asked, gawking at me.
“One of them is a friend of mine. Yuki was kind enough to tell me what was going on.” I laughed evilly. Gackt stared at me in awe, before smiling.
“You're very wonderful.” he said in awe.
“Yeah, sure I am...I just have barely any luck is all.” I said casually. I stood up and stretched, yawning wholeheartedly. “I think I'm going to bed...today was long and very testing.”
“Takarai,” Gackt called..only to be ignored. “HAIDO,”
“Huh?” I asked, turning to him. No one in my work field calls me that, only my friends do so…that was a bit of a surprise. He walked over to me and took my face in his hands.
“I'm sorry, and I won't misjudge you again...and I WILL listen to you....and I won't beat you up for breakfast tomorrow.” he said, before kissing my nose. “Goodnight.”
“What was that for?” I asked, gawking at him.
“We're 'together' remember?” he asked, before walking off. “Sleep well.”
“What is WRONG with him?” I asked quietly, before heading to bed.

I woke up the next morning to the phone ringing. I sighed in annoyance, before picking up the phone. “What is it now?” I asked.
“Come to breakfast....NOW.” he ordered, before hanging up.
Growling, I got up and went into the kitchen, to see a healthy breakfast sitting at the table for the both of us. “Huh?” I asked going wide eyed.
“Breakfast is served sir,” Gackt said in a silly voice. I blinked, sitting at the table...and I began to eat my granola and fresh fruit cereal, smiling to myself.
“This is really good..thank you.” I said quietly, happily enjoying my meal.
“You're welcome...so.....anyway...there's something I want to show you.” My companion informed me, as he put his spoon down.
“What is it?” I asked. Gackt took out a piece of paper.
“This was inside the clock...pressed against the back.” he said, handing it to me.
Property of Hiro Takrai it said...making my eyes go wide. “That clock belonged to my DAD?!” I asked, staring at the paper even harder.
“It appears so.” Gackt said quietly, as we continued to eat. “Now I'm confused. Maybe our parents had planned this out...but why would they do that?”
“Where the hell did dad have the money to afford this?” I asked, tilting my head.
“That's something...I wonder too. Looks like there's something going on that we're in the dark about. Should we investigate?” Gackt asked, giving me a smile.
“Yes, I believe we should.” I agreed, sighing deeply. For once we’re both in the same boat about something…our fathers both left us in the dark about something, and we’re going to find out…or we’ll be forever confused.
Getting all the more interesting isn't it? :3
