She'd called and left a message for Shawn saying she really needed to see him - just really needing boyfriend time - and asking if he could arrange a 1400 ride or if she should see if Lex would let her fly out on his plane.

Then she curled up with a book in bed and waited to see if he'd get back to her before she fell asleep.

Fortunately enough, Shawn had enough sway around the centre that pulling in one of the teleporters for a sneaky trip out to Connecticut actually wasn't as hard as he thought it might be. He owed the guy, that was for sure, but it would be worth it.

At least, he thought it would be worth it as he knocked on Lana's door.

Lana sighed, set her book down, and got out of bed. She slipped her robe over her pjs and padded to the door. "Who is it?"

Her voice undoubtedly showed her frustration at being disturbed.

Shawn smirked a little at the tone. "Delivery for you," he said, through the door.

"I can come back later if you're busy." Hopefully she recognised his voice, or it would be a long trip back anywhere.

And that would be a sound of pure joy as she pulled the door open and threw herself into his arms. "Shawn!"
