HI! I hope you don't mind that I respond on your personal journal. I'm on the Lesbian LJ community but I don't feel comfortable posting there, being that I'm male. I'm rather a-typical as men go. I'm very very pro female so much so I recieved an honorary certificate of lesbian authenticity from the local dykes on bikes community. That and my father is gay, I grew up in a hair styling salon. Thank you and you're right. Ugh, I know my friends had good intentions, and they probably didn't mean for me to become a 5th wheel, but it's hard having purely straight friends, being the only lesbian. In honestly, the one person in the community is right, I have no one to blame but myself.
