he generally tries to do the right thing, and sometimes for him, the right thing is pissing people off for their own good.
Exactly! With the little things, he just tries to annoy people who annoyed him before, but when he annoys someone big time, then it tends to be because he thinks it needs to be done to yield some greater good.
He's even able to explain what is happening to Takeshi, when clearly Takeshi would like nothing less than to be understood by Ando.
That's a surprising alliance they have struck up, and an uneasy one too, but Ando (if he really tries) 'gets' Takeshi. Doesn't mean he approves, but he understands.
But she is the breakfast fairy! And by the way, that scene in Umino's bed? CUTEST THING EVER. Your Ando/Umino friendship makes me squee every time, and throwing Usagi into the mix just completed the adorable friendship picture. Usagi just demanded more screentime (she was horribly short-shelved in Airmail), so I wondered what to ( ... )

My favorite part was Umino's boundaries question and his weak attempt at enforcing them being completely derailed by a bite of sandwich. I love Ando/Umino interaction.
That also reminds me, I really liked "Monday", with Ando's observations about Makoto and the three blondes' Ikea trip. Minako getting all the things Usagi wanted and Ando expecting her to was wonderful. It's surprisingly rare to see the senshi doing nice, everyday things for Usagi, and this was done in just the right way.
And finally, having the Neo-Queen in bed with two of her husband's protectors in a totally non-scandalous way: AWESOME.

Hiro doesn't hate Ando, he just doesn't understand him because they are so very different and because Ando is rather unpredictable.

Thank you so much! At some point I realised that Mina must be really loaded because of the whole Sailor V merchandise thing, and since she is also a very generous person, she wouldn't stand by while her friend can't afford the things she likes. It's a good thing that Usagi is not too proud to accept those gifts, but instead just sees them as what they are: a small act of kindness from a friend.

The calender thing is roflbot and patience. I had it as text only at first, but then decided to put it in an actual diary because you know, much more impressive.
And see, I finally followed through on my promise, you finally get the dog in a tutu! The second half of the promise (so the Ando/Rei date) is in the second part of this chapter, which is linked above (you went on a reading frenzy yesterday! YAY!).
