Title: On Razor’s Edge - Chapter 16 Summary: Crystal Tokyo has arrived. So has Ando Tanaka. Warnings: All the sad pandas. A/N: One reference to Desmond and Lost. Thousand thanks to Charlie.
Oh, right. There it is, on the floor. Squished. By ORE.
It was Athens, its ancient buildings impressive even under a sky that was robbed of its daily cornflower blue, or its equally beautiful midnight shades. A beautiful picture but not quite right - it sums up Takeshi and Setsuna's whole relationship and it's just the perfect metaphor for them. And yet, even as I love him and Minako as a couple, my heart just WEEPS for Set/Tak by the end

Hmm, where is it? Where is that heart of mine? Oh, right. There it is, on the floor. Squished. By ORE. Oh dear. dailypuppy.com?

And yet, even as I love him and Minako as a couple, my heart just WEEPS for Set/Tak by the end. I do feel a bit bad for Takeshi and Setsuna. Those two just can't win.
This is such a beautiful chapter because all the tensions and issues from before both have an effect now and yet at the same time don't really matter, because at the end of the day, they're the Shitennou and Senshi, which means they're different. They have a destiny, and this isn't supposed to be it. They're stuck together and confused and it's just so brilliantly played out here. I love it, so much. And it hurts. Also, Minako is on fire here, she's a trooper and just so on the ball. She may not be the most outwardly commanding, but she's the real leader here, the one who sees sense and who makes others

I want this to all be over, so I can go back and read it in one delightful afternoon (when there is a happy ending - RIGHT?!??!?), but GAH woman! How dare you drop in on my happy summer day and lay this out? At the same time, I want it to keep going so I can keep reading!
With so many characters, I love how you give each one their due and special development. #isjealous
'He opened a door marked NO ENTRY and ushered her in.' I would be lying if I said I wanted this to go in a completely difference direction. #hatesexleadstosomethingelse
