The Bible is a scripture, split into different "books" that outline Christianity's teachings and the life of Christ. The scripture is rather lengthy, but the library in the school should have a readable copy or two.
A-ah, no. I am not partial to religion myself, but Christianity has had a profound impact on my world to say the least. It's one of three major, monotheistic religions that have dominated my world for thousands of years.
From what I've gathered over the network, there are Christians here in the city. I meant to say that, in all likelihood, there could be a Bible--the holy text--available in the library.
Surely there are better reasons for converting to a religion?
Christianity is a prominent religion is most version of the world named "Earth". It's basic tenants are the worship of one diety known simply as God, his human son who is simultaneously an avatar of him, and the essence of his power. The religion has several different denominations that have different dogmas and beliefs, although the most common one emphasizes how the son sacrificed himself for all of humankind's sins.
Essentially, it was an exchange-for humans to attain a happy afterlife, that one had to die. It can be quite bizarre when looked at from afar, but people believed in it.
