So the girlfriend not only stuck but will soon be the wife. The battle axe. The old ball and chain.

In the past year we

moved in together
combined our animals
got engaged
moved across the country
bought a house together (both names on title!)
are planning a May wedding

So that's the latest. She's a salvation all right, and I am not dead yet.
