Date up, Udate!
Had a pretty hideous week, both in terms of work and getting things accomplished. One more terribly-busy week left of the semester, then I plan to take full advantage of some fine-quality ass-sitting time. I mean... "productivity."

The Turkish test actually put me in a bad mood for ages. I forgot how much I hate language schools and the politics behind language assessment. I saw my own scores and as a language instructor, I recognized that I should be put into a Level 4 class (highest basic level) but the school refused to put me anything other than a Level 3, which really only means that they want me to pay about 400 lira for a course for which I already know 75% of the material. Then they guilted me about not buying a 50 lira book that I don't need. I will definitely not go back to that school again, so I'm sort of at an impasse about that second test. Oh, well. A

I'm also sort of cheating about the making the bed thing, because on Wednesday the housekeeper made it for me after she changed the sheets. I'm counting that, though, because I still got to go to sleep in a fresh bed that night and, really, how could I have possibly made it up right before she stripped the bed? What am I, a huge jerk? Totally counts.
