No, hun. You're not the only one feeling this. All of it. I hope and pray that ABC does this one right. But I'm not *happy* about it. I hope it pushes the right boundaries and opens some eyes. I really do. But I hate it. I hate that it has to be here at all because it should still be Erica and Callie. None of the shit that happened with Brooke should have happened and it still pisses me off.

And I hate that the community seems to be anti-callica now. It doesn't make sense and I feel very much like I've tossed out on my ass. I feel rejected- first by ABC and now by the community. I hope everything clears up soon but I kind of don't expect it. Those of us who love Brooke and Callica and aren't ready to move on will just have to stick together. My journal is open to you and every one else. I hope you continue to stop by. :D

Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one :) I hope they do it right too. I hope this relationship affects people like Callie and Erica's did, and I hope this opens people's eyes. I hope the writers do it right this time. But you know what, I have no respect for the writers. For ABC. For any of them

Thanks. I really was just trying to find some people who understood how I was feeling. And guess what? It worked. Honestly, if everyone who commented on my LJ about Callica would speak up in the community, it would be made pretty obvious we're not going anywhere and we still have a right to be there. After all, the community name is ERICA_Callie. Both. Equally. Whether or not one is still on the show.

Ah yay, I'm glad I'm not the only one.

They've completely lost my support too... Arg. They've lost my respect, and I'm never, ever going to support them again. Even if by some crazy event I end up liking Callie and Arizona (which I'm thinking won't happen) I still won't support ABC...

Yeah. Grey's lost my respect when 'life during wartime' aired. I mean WOW!!! And what the hell r they doing to the female charactors? Grey's writers are making them weaker and weaker as each episode airs. In a way I'm glad Brooke Smith isn't there for the trainwreck that is now Grey's Anatomy! And I feel bad for everyone else still stuck on the show.

You're not the only one hunny! I feel bad for thinking this but I would kinda rather have Callie alone and sad waiting for Erica than be with Arizona. But...I was thinking about something. What if the only reason Callie gets with Arizona is because of the whole blonde hair, blue eyes, light skin that just maybe reminds her of Erica. And while Callie is w Arizona all she can think about is Erica. Then she passes her resident boards and leaves SGH to get the hell outta there and the hospital she ends up, not only is Erica there but she's chief of surgery! Sure they'll be all um...at first but then they'll fall back in love and they;ll have little Callicalets and live happily ever after. So, no your not the only one not diggin the possibility of Calzona.

Yeah... well, maybe that's the only reason, but the writers won't include that in the storyline.... I just don't think they will... but yeah, yay for thinking positively!

Not the only one. Two Points:
1) I agree ABC and Grey's Producers are being insulting. What happened to Shonda's comments that the Callie character wasn't going to jump immediately into a relationship with another woman? That Cristina had mourned Burke for a season, and implied Callie would do the same. So now, just as they are coming up on sweeps weeks, they replace the sole previous lesbian character with a younger, supposedly cuter, version. Ummmm

2) The e_c comm mods had set down rules about no Callie/Arizona fics and now all the sudden their advertising a new community. I totally agree with whoever said, it's like rubbing salt in our wounds. And that the mods don't see that...well, *that* is kinda insulting. So now on a Erica_Callie site I feel like the bad guy for advocating my ship. What happened?

Nonetheless, I do hope this all calms down. 'Cause let's face it - I don't want to lose the community entirely.

And yep, I feel the same way. I feel like the community is so anti-Callica, and I feel horrible for even posting my opinions on Callie/Arizona. But why? It's ERICA_Callie, right? But yeah, I totally get what you mean.

I hope it calms down too.. and maybe in time it will, but I have a feeling we're gong to lose a lot of members...
