URGENT MATHS HELP NEEDED

Help Needed! I suck at maths!

For one of our modules students have to do 2 assignments to make up the grade. Assignment A is worth 75% of the overall mark and Assignment is worth 25% of the overall mark.

So if a student gets 70% for Assignment A and 45% for Assignment B how do I work out what the overall Module grade is?

I fucking hate numbers!

A very simple way is to mutilply 70 X 3 = 210 and then add the 45 = 255 and divide that by 4 = 63.75

another way to get the answer is: (.70 x .75) + (.25 x .45) = .6375 = 63.75%
