How irritating! Yes, it would bug me. I might have asked them to move down so my babies could see! As for the reading, a bit odd, but different strokes for different folks I guess.

That is very unusual behavior, and yes it would bother me. I'd be tempted to do something like sit a kid on my lap and say, loud enough to be heard, "Here...Connor....maybe you can see if you sit on my LAP!"

By the time they sat down, the music had already started.... so I didn't have a chance to make a "loud" comment. ;) I DO do things like that (awful, am I!), and I am really bad about not so nice glares. Will probably get me in trouble someday! :-D
