I quite liked the story (had to read the first one over again, but enjoyed that too). It's a nice story that dips into some of the sides of being in a relationship.
There was one thing that irked me a bit, however. Through the story you have them talk about safe sex, and even Leila expresses the need for safe sex and Eber gives Tommy condoms. And then we it comes for it, you have them go without condoms. I'm sorry but that threw me off a bit. Throughout the stories you have them both acting reasonable and mature for the most part, and then here they are having unsafe sex.
Even though they are both virgins doesn't mean they can't have an STD, I'm thinking mostly herpes here. HSV-1 (the kind that you get around your mouth and lips, so called fever-blisters) can cause genital herpes (HVS-2), and most people have HSV-1, so they aren't safe.
Also the most common symptom for an STD is no symptom at all, that's why it's so important to check yourself after changing partners and regularly even if you are in a monogamous relationship.
Have been reading this story and I like it ! It's kind of fun to explore first love with these boys. All the angst and uncertainty of being a teenager. Can't wait for more of this.

They are safe, they've never had sex with others and they both know that. They trust eath other.
I wrote that scene with next fic in mind and the no condom will be important later on...
