In a little over a week we hopefully will be heading to the ocean instead of gatlinburg. We both have always really wanted a beach wedding so we are gonna go to myrtle beach and look around for spots. According to this one site that we were looking at said that south carolina marriage licenses are $25 and that they dont have an expiration date like

water the sand until it compacts, then let it dry out. throw the runner over it. it'll be like the beach is after high tide has left. you could always let nautre do it as well and find someplace with a very high tide normally and use the spot closest to the water. (most beach weddings don't include a runner or shoes though)

in another idea, have the runner made of flowers (or petals) or something equally as natural. the walkway will still be lined, but if they sink into the sand, no big deal and it won't muss the image.
