I didn't exactly read all of it, but I have a question:
What do you mean by progressive?
Because I know the protestant reformation was all about how relationship with God > Tradition.
Summit mentioned that a lot of inventions/scientists/writers were Christian... (but they say a lot of stuff too. haha.. I forgot about the "so do witches" quote. LOL)

So, I read this...idk, I don't have much to say about it because I'm definitely like, a socialist and agnostic/atheist, haha. I just wanted to say that ( ... )

See, that's the thing I disagree with you on: Just because a baby can't survive outside of the womb doesn't mean it isn't a human. There are many humans that can't survive on their own. Hell, a toddler isn't self-sufficient. By that measure, a patient on a liver dialysis machine isn't human. Nor is a diabetic who is dependent on insulin ( ... )

I'M DEFINITELY AGAINST ABORTION!

Personally, I just couldn't think of just killing a baby. It's too harsh. You're, like, taking away the baby's life without even letting him get a chance to live. If you don't want to raise the child, don't abort; just give him to the orphanage.

Well that's the debate: is the thing growing inside a mother's womb a full-fledged member of the human race, with all the rights endowed to humans?

And it's a lot easier to say 'carry the baby to term and give him/her up for adoption' than it is to actually do it, I think. An accidental pregnancy is something you'd have to deal with with your family, telling them, your friends, coworkers. It's such a social taboo, also. There are a lot of factors.
