Don't be afraid of a credit card! Just be responsible. I was supposed to get one when I was off to college, but my bank financial person, haha, said that we needed to fill out some more forms that she forgot about for it, and I was already in NY so I couldn't, and now I just want to apply through Citibank I think and not my bank. It's good to use for groceries, and gas. Just pay it off as soon as you get home and it'll help build credit if you have to apply for any other financing or anything in the future.

Yeah I think I have the self-control not to use it excessively. Besides it's only got a spending limit of 700 dollars, and I could reduce it if I wanted to.

I'm going to stick with debit though, and only charge to credit if...some strange circumstance comes up. :D

Yeah well, I just say to use it and then pay it right away to develop a credit rating... You could set it up to pay it online as soon as you got home. It's basically just one more step instead of just debit.
