I finally figured out why every timestamp I view online was always threeish hours off and managed to correct it...turns out my computer thought I was in the US Pacific timezone. And it took me this long and this much headscratching to actually look at the timezone tab on the clock and figure that out. LOL ME.

Well I'm sort of similar with randomly realizing one of my LJs was actually showing EST instead of UTC like everything else (which bugged me because I didn't know what the heck that was for me) and then realized that I could change the timezone for LJ :D Now it just confuses me when I switch to a journal that I haven't changed yet.

I had that problem when I went out to Oklahoma for class. It screwed up some of my appointments in Outlook too.

was that for facebook or livejournal? every time i get a message online from facebook, from friends, it's three hours behind or ahead from the actual time they write it..i forget which. how'd you correct it?
