I am lying in bed praying that the ARC clinic opens sometime later today. I need to see a doc so that I can be referred to a specialist. It seems that I have vertigo. I beat the rain! Yes. God’s graces abound. I just got back from the doc who said I probably had a virus, but he was going to just treat the symptoms. He wasn’t much help, but I really just wanted the note that proves I was really out sick for the past two days. That only makes me feel slightly better. I am feeling achy and stuffy.

We are busy busy today. At least I only have one more day to go. Let’s see: there has been sodomy of a child via broomstick by mom’s boyfriend, penetration via butter knife and finger by dad towards his 3 girls. Sigh. That never gets easier to hear. Prospero Ano Nuevo!
I had a fantastic New Year's Eve. Nate suggested we go to San Antonio to keep my parents company and I was thrilled! We picked up Aaron and popped fireworks with Tim and the boys. I love this time of year!
Work is still a drag. Today I had two Spanish translation calls. One of them took 55 minutes! The state pays 78 cents a minute for these calls! ( Read more... ) -
Happiest New Year to All!
This has been one of the hardest years for me emotionally and physically. So much has happened and I seem to have allowed things to slip away from me. This Christmas season was one of the worst for me until Christmas Eve and since then things started to change for the better- at least for now. I will embrace this reprieve while it lasts.
