i like the way my mom signs her text messages. with a brief "Love!" as if the 'i' and 'you' (or even 'u') would be too complex a maneuver for her nimble, 50-year-old fingers to handle (but notice she never forgets to capitalize the 'L'--possibly due to smartphone ingenuity rather than thought or effort). perhaps, it represents more meaning than
