30 Hour Famine

So guys, as most of you know I started fasting yesterday at 12 noon to help the children of Africa and other third world countries...this is where you guys come in...sponsorship and donations are needed and they will be sent to these countries to help the children. How does you starving yourself help them? You could have done a run or something.

The fast is a tiny taste of what the children go thru on a daily basis.
The famine is a world wide event done through World Vision...if you need more information...search it.

Yes I was aware, it just doesn't make sense to the average person. It's not as if it is massive effort. Most people who do charity work, work for the money.

Well average doesn't really exist anymore...and fasting does a lot! Especially when it comes to religion...after you complete the 30 hour famine we do charity work. The sponsorship for the fast is how you get the money to send to the children in those third world countries.

30 hours of not eating? i'm proud of you kirstin. it takes a lot of control and will power. I wish I was able to see you so I could support you.

Thanks dear! It goes fast if you keep busy. Even though I got dizzy, weak and had a lot of headaches...it was definately worth it!
