[yukari stared at the familiar burn mark over the stove.

it seemed to stare back.

...really, it wasn't that bad.  besides, it brought back a wave of memories.  rushing for the fire extinguisher, the landlord beating on their door, serious demeanors collapsing into laughter as soon as his back was turned...it'd been eventful, if nothing else.

[lockon really did intend to paint over that, someday. someday soon. really. Neil Dylandy did not go back on his word, and he had promised.

...never specified a timescale, though. And there was always something more interesting to take care of than kitchen redecoration. :3 as it stood, he'd only headed towards the kitchen to remind himself that it wasn't really so bad a mark.

when he saw yukari, though, he sort of lost sight of that purpose. he smiled to see her like that, just watching her for a moment, before moving quietly over and placing a chaste kiss on her hair. surprise!]

[she was startled for only a second before playfully butting her head against his chin.] Hey, don't sneak up on people like that.

I can't help it. You're cute when you're surprised. [he wrapped his arms around her for a hug and a small nuzzle, just enjoying the closeness.]
