After moderating loversfaraway for nearly 10 years, I've decided that it's time to step down. This community was an integral part of my long distance relationship - not only did I get a lot of support and advice from the members of this community, but I've also gained some friendships, some of whom I consider my closest friends. I'm surprised that no one has responded to this! Hopefully I will speak for all of the members of the community when I say thank you for all the hard work you've put in here over the last 10 years and for making the community what it is.

It's alright - I've been a pretty hands-off mod for a long time now, since the community pretty much runs itself anyhow! :-) Thanks to you for all of your hard work, as well!

Yes, thank you so much for all of the work you put in. You've always been so welcoming to new members and encouraging of other people/their relationships. Hopefully we all can continue that :]

I don't even know why I randomly came to this community. You ruled as a mod, even though I haven't come here for years.

I will always have a soft spot for this place, at least for the close friends it gave me :)
