Member stats.So, we're going through a rough patch. It hasn't anything to do with us personally, we're more in love now than ever. We spent a wonderful three weeks together back in August, and got to see each other for a very short visit in early November. We were hoping we could see each other before I started school again, and had formulated

Fortunately we haven't been in much of a similar situation. We've been together (physically together) during similar times- the deaths of very close friends, when my mom got breast cancer, etc- which was good.

The thing about these situations is everyone reacts differently. Some people are totally cool and don't appear outwardly phased. Some people want to be left alone while others want to talk about it quite frequently. The best thing you can do for him is to ask him what it is he needs from you- either support as a blank wall for him to just vent at or to just kind of fade to the back a bit.
