Long distance relationships are tough and support and advice are big helps. At the moment I just watch the group and offer advice and support where I can. A LDR is not one of the easiest things to get through, but in the end it is worth it.

Changing things up is hard, though I guess I would have to ask what complications lead to the taking a step back? coping with the changes in the relationship will take its toll on the both of you. But you did come to the right place for help.

Im also a gamer, though I dont play MMOs, I am familiar with them, though Xbox Live has lead to gamer friends becoming couples.

Journaling does help, tremendously, if writing is your thing at all. I've been in a somewhat stressful situation with my almost-boyfriend over the past couple of months, and anytime I have something to say that wouldn't be appropriate to share right now, I journal it. It does wonders for my mental health, truly.
