So I ended up having my wallet taken away from me last night at knife point. I had no cash on me at that point so they just ended up taking my debit card, throwing everything else on the ground and taking off. At this point (2:00am) I was so tired I just ended up collecting the things in my wallet and walking home. I have to cancel my card now and ( Read more... )

Yeah, Portland's not what it was when we first started going to school here. Just last night I had a man standing quite firmly in my bubble, behind me in line at Cumby's, and he said, "Heh, I'm smelling you," and started chuckling to himself.

Anyhow, here's to the idiots who steal debit cards, not realizing for some reason that they're just going to get canceled before they make any use of it. Really glad you weren't hurt, duder.

Thanks my brother-from-another-mother. I don't think Portland's changing. I just think we're becoming more of a part of it then we used to be. I mean we are a ways from the good old days of P-Hall or the High Street dorms...

Were they very agressive or more just stupid armed stoners that you didn't want to bother messing with? By the sounds of it- they were pretty agressive if they knifed your back a bit...

It's nothing to worry about. I left a message with the police asking them to patrol that area more. No money was stolen. Life goes on.
